Do vultures hunt?

No. Vultures are actually mainly scavengers – so they feed on animals that have died already, or animals that have been killed by other animals such as lions. There is even a feeding order for different types of vultures; the smaller Egyptian vultures wait until the larger lappet-faced vultures have finished eating before diving in themselves.
