What does successism mean?

The term “successism” is used to mean an almost unhealthy obsession with the idea of success, where success is usually equivalent to doing very well financially or in one’s career. Of course success in a career usually means success in finances as well. People who believe in the idea of successism usually tend to be workaholics.
